It finally happened.
Tyler and Josh December 2nd, 2007

First of all, please accept my apologies for the lack of blogging lately. I feel like our little lives have just been through a huge wind storm, and things are finally settling down.
TYLER IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
It happened last Tuesday morning at 3:30am. My parents and Julie and Dave were able to be here for it, which really meant the world to me- and a couple of our closest friends, Andy and Ricky came too. There would have been more people, but since Tyler's flights kept getting cancelled and delayed, they weren't able to stay in town for Ty's homecoming.
Because it was so early, my friend Debi stayed at home with Josh so he could get his rest to prepare for the adjustment and shock of having Daddy back home.
Some pictures..
Some pictures..
My mom, Ricky, me, and Andy

I saw him as soon as he entered the hall, but when I ran down to find him- I lost him. After a split second of panic, he ran up beside me and swooped me up. It was the best feeling to be in his arms again.

After a lot of hugs and a couple pictures, Ty ran back outside, got his bags and we headed back to the house.

Josh wasn't too sure about what was going on- it was still VERY early in the morning and all he knew was there was a bunch of people in his room taking pictures... He soon realized it was his Daddy that kept talking to him- that moment I will never forget. He did a total double-take and just said, "MY DADDY!" After a quick hug, he ran into his bedroom to look at the pictures he has on his wall of his Daddy then came back out to the living room and just kept saying, "My Daddy! You're here!" It was an amazing moment.

Things settled down and we all got some rest that day- a couple days later, we went over to the park near our house as a family.
Josh acts like Tyler never left.. He loves his Daddy so much- and they have the funniest conversations. Tyler is blown away with how big and smart Josh is, I look forward to watching them for many years to come.
