I hope most of you don't gamble..

Because from my baby gender poll, you'd lose a lot of money!!!
That's right, looks like we're having a BOY!!!!

Because most people don't have a clue what they're looking at:
The left foot is over on the left of the picture, then you see his leg, then up to the back of his knee, then it bends and you see his thigh and his little bum.. and from that, you can probably see where his proof is. Right above the ultrasound cursor.
We get the "official" gender ultrasound on the 16th... but who wants to wait that long to yell it from the rooftops?? We are very excited! Josh is happy, but I think he would have been happy either way. Now we just need to figure out what to name the little guy!

We had a great time at New Moon! Here we are, in our AWESOME hoodies we had made! The front has the Cullen crest, the back has the New Moon movie logo and the left Arm has our names.. Yeah, we got quite a few comments on them, what a fun thing!

From left to right, Hannah, Lisa, Karina, Me, Karlee, Becky and Kalli.

Thanks girls for coming! It was a blast! I can't wait to come up with something wonderful for Eclipse!

waiting at the theater...
..and waiting..

..sick of waiting, half of us fell asleep before it started! But don't worry, we were all up and alert for the movie when it FINALLY came on!

Fun snow gear and the vein of my existence.

"I AM smiling!"
Really?? Camera shy?? weirdo.

Stupid woodpecker. He's really pretty, but not so much when he's pecking the metal vent outlet from my master bathroom... it kinda makes me want to go crazy.

YAY SNOW!

Looks like it's time to get some warm snow clothes for Josh! I could barely talk him in to coming back inside for a tub!

PSA Reminder: Don't eat the yellow snow.

The Art of Bread Making:

Rule of Life #127: When you screw up your first time making bread, don't get mad and walk away to cool off... or you'll come back to something like this:
stupid yeast.
Instead, try again.
And this time, don't add 5 1/2 cups of water... when it only calls for 3 1/2 cups of water.
Then, enjoy your own success.
And remind your husband to Oooo and Ahhh all over it.

Joshy's new obsession.

The following post will be in the **Thoughts** of Josh.

Oooo... Mom's new computer. It's silver and shiny... Let's click THIS button.

Oh, I see myself!
I could totally get in trouble for this...
WHO CARES!!!! THIS IS A BLAST!!!!
I better practice "playing dead" now... before Mom catches me...

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, so I was playing around on my mac today and noticed some new pictures in my photo booth.... Who were they of? Joshy!!! Did he have permission to have said photo shoot? NO!!!
From what he's wearing, I know he did this on Sunday..
...that turkey... he knows he needs permission to get on this computer!!
Even so, I thought the pictures were hysterical and added a little narration for your reading pleasure.
silly kid.

HALLOWEEN!!!

So, for MONTHS every time I asked Josh what he wanted to be for Halloween, I get the reply, "MOM! I don't want to be ANYBODY! I just want to be JOSHY!!"
OOOOOOKAY...
At first I was totally bummed, but then I figured, if he didn't want to dress up for Halloween, I wasn't going to make him. BUT- I continued to ask, just in case he changed his mind.
Tyler and I even asked the night before Halloween, and got the same response.
Fast forward to Halloween morning:
We wake up and announce to Josh that it's Halloween day, and we get to pass out candy that night to the kids that go trick-or-treating.
He got VERY excited and replied, "Oh GREAT!!! I want to be a DINOSAUR!!!!"
what?
Well, after about a million and a half calls to everywhere I could think of, there were no dinosaur costumes left in Colorado Springs in his size. shocker.
We did however, find one costume in his size, at pottery barn kids. (of course, the most expensive place to buy a costume.) A Gorilla!!! Tyler and I made sure to make a big deal about it, talking about how awesome Gorilla's are... he took the bait, and LOVED the costume.
Some pictures:

Instead of trick-or-treating around our neighborhood, we invited our neighbor and her little girl to head over to the trunk-or-treat at the church. Our ward, and another ward had the annual chili cook-off and decorated all the class rooms for the kids. It was a hit, a lot of fun.
(Yes, that's a banana-bag he's holding... cute.)
It ended up being a real fun night- After the trunk-or-treat, we came back to the house and Meghan (neighbor) and her daughter Summer stayed over and watched a movie and had some candy and pop corn.
Here's a picture of Summer and Josh after they were done gathering as much candy as they could.

Go ahead, leave a comment!

Let me know what you think! Photobucket
