Happy Birthday, Tyler!!!

Tyler is the big 27 today!
I just wanted to get on here and send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who sent him birthday packages! He has loved them, it makes him feel so much closer to home when he gets letters, home made pictures and funny little origami frogs. ;)
Please add your birthday wishes for Tyler in the comments section, It'll be a nice surprise when he checks this blog to see all the people who care about him posting for him.
Tyler, I love you so much and I hope you get to relax a bit on your birthday!
(I think right now, it's the evening of your birthday your time...)
even so- I hope you were able to smile and laugh and know how much we all love you.
Today and always.
Kelly and Joshy.

I swear... if I have one more thing cut out of me, I'll scream!!!

UPDATE!!! I had my check up yesterday and it turns out that dumb thing was just a Reactive Lymph Node. The Doc said that I probably just had a bad ear infection when I was little (Heaven knows I had a lot of them...) and it just irritated that lymph node and it never quite went back to normal. Then, every time it got irritated again it would just get worse and worse and worse. So, long story short- I'm fine. again. still. but the doc is glad I got it taken out so that it won't be more of a pain later when it was even bigger.
So there, Becky! How's that for your Alien conspiracy??? :P

Thanks everyone for your concern and kind comments. :)

So- remember that lump I've had behind my ear since high school? Well- I went to the Dr today and he cut it out of my head. OUCH!
When he looked at it at first, he said that he was pretty sure it was just a sebaceous cyst and it would be super easy to just cut out of there and I'd be done after just a few minutes...
20 minutes into the procedure I hear, "Wow, this thing is really deep!" ...a while later, "Hmm... this is REALLY deep..."
40 minutes after he began, he says to his PA, "put this thing in a specimen jar... send it to pathology, that is not a sebaceous cyst."
NICE, eh?
It was pretty long, about 2 1/2 cm and as big around as my pinky.
The good news? I get to wear this fancy head piece all day and night... he said I could take it off tomorrow morning, but I need to wear it to sleep for the next couple nights. Lucky me.

Good thing I have Dr. Joshy to take care of me around the clock- I just don't know what I'd do without him.
I go back in next Tuesday to get the stitches removed- I'll be sure to update with the pathology results as soon as I get them. My sister, Becky, said that it is a tracking device the aliens implanted when I was abducted... and now they've just been trying to locate me again and that's why it's been giving me such problems... yeah, funny beck.

1 Million dollars goes to the person who can figure out why I always get the freaky medical problems.

Fort Hall Replica

Julie took us to the Fort Hall Replica yesterday- it was kinda overcast and rainy, but it was really cool to see. Here are some pictures.

Josh loved the "Big white triangle"!! I think that was his favorite part.

Yellowstone Pictures!

We were so excited to be able to see Tyler's brother Chad, and his family up at Yellowstone. It was the first time Josh met his cousin Myles and his Aunt Julie. Too bad Josh was in such a cranky mood.... darn two year olds... We got some great pictures though.

Me and my sister in law, Julie.

It was so beautiful!

I just love this picture of Dave and Julie! (Ty's Mom and step-dad)

They were too tired... they decided to sleep in the car while Julie and I went and looked at the Dragon Mouth. Boy did they miss out!

The weather was perfect! nice and sunny, but not too hot. the water was so clear, I've never seen anything like it!

lilypads!

Yep, here's Old Faithful... I thought it was great... Josh? Not so much... I think something bit him- or maybe stung him... I never did find out what his problem was, but it makes for a classic video that I'm sure we'll get lots of use out of when he's older.

awesome Yellowstone buses!

The Old Faithful Lodge. It was beautiful inside! This was the only way I could keep Josh from running all over the place.

Josh sure loves his Grandpa Dave!

Word of advice... don't go to Yellowstone to fill up the tank...

We're alive, I promise!! In Pocatello!

We are having so much fun up here in Pocatello with Dave and Julie! Here are a few pictures and a video from when we first arrived, last week. (don't worry, there's more to come! I still have 6 days until I go home and I've already taken 267 pictures!!!)
Angie and Colby were here last week, on their way up to Montana for Colby's family reunion. Their little boy, Porter, was lots of fun to have around for Josh. Josh doesn't share very well with Porter, but he sure does like him. :) Here they are making a mess in the bird bath.

Dave built a HUGE swing in the back yard, Josh LOVES to swing on it with Grandma Julie. he just says "WEEEEE" the whole time. So much fun.

Gotta run for now, but now that I've got these pictures loaded on the computer- I'll be able to blog a little easier. :)

Kelly.

It was a nice day today- we went over to the park and Kaleigh and Josh had so much fun playing together. Aren't they just the most beautiful children?? I just can't get over it.

and went to dinner. Josh is completely enamored with Kaleigh. He fed her and gave her sips of his drink, he take such good care of her. What great kids we have. :)

Fun with KayKay!!

We all went to the Denver Zoo yesterday- that was fun, but we didn't even make it half way! Oh, we were so tired.
Josh and Kaleigh have gotten to be the best little buddies. Here they are in the Tropical Encounters house.

of course, Josh had to give kisses to his favorite, the monitor.
After the zoo, we headed over to dinner at Red Robin. (uhhh, can you tell this is my favorite place?) KayKay was nice enough to share her juice with Joshy!
Me and Shaney
Josh and Kaleigh were excited to come back to the house and have a tubby together! What a fun pair!
In fact, it was so much fun that we found them upstairs in my bathroom in the tub together again!!

Go ahead, leave a comment!

Let me know what you think! Photobucket
