Tyler and Josh didn't waste any time getting dirty in the front yard. They had a blast picking all the weeds and and here they are lifting the soil so Ty can spread grass seed and fertilizer. Josh was a big help.

After Josh "helped" more, by throwing dirt at the cars and Ty's face, he quickly got a new job. There was a small ant hill in the dirt, and Ty put him to work by picking up all the ants and collecting them in the jar for the tadpoles. Josh thought that job was just as much fun.
So proud, Ty snapped a picture of the front yard after he watered the seeds.
The tadpoles liked the ants. They got big, huh? Since we took this picture, their tails are totally gone and we actually let them go in Evil's house outside. Ty promised me Evil wouldn't hurt them. They're such cute little toads.

The toads look great, evil has competition with the grocery bugs! A toad is faster than a turtle. good thing you supplement his diet w/the super worms.

Home sweet home!! I have a question. How in the heck does Joshy pick up the ants w/o getting bit?! That would freak me out! And yes, those mountains are gorgeous!!

uhm, is yard work good for Ty's back?? :) but it's looking good, and Ty is a cute dad to find Josh the perfect job instead of telling him to...go away, for instance...
